Janet Hadda, prominent Yiddishist at UCLA,  died on June 24, 2015. For
Mendelyaner who have not already read it, we recommend the obituary that

contributors adhere, when applicable, as closely as possible to
standard English punctuation, grammar, etc. and to the YIVO rules of
