Dear Friends of Yiddish,

               On Thursday 2nd of June, at Beit Felicia Blumenthal

                          Bialik Street 26,   Tel Aviv,  7PM

                          Under the auspices of Beit Leyvik

 An evening commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Spanish Civil War
including short readings from S.L. Shneiderman's Yiddish reportage from his
1938 book "Krieg in Shpanien".  Hebrew translation will be screened during
the reading.
 Excerpts from a film by Eran Turbin, Flamenco dancer: Ela Waij and Sarita
Roth singing Spanish songs from the period.

 Entrance fee:30 shekel
