Hershl Glezer hot a doktorat in lingvistik fun Kolombye-universitet. Er iz
a yidisher lingvist un iberzetser un der mit-shef-redaktor funem Arumnemik
English-Yidish verterbukh. Zayn hoypt-interes iz dialektn, say ba Yidn, say

The fourth “A Tog Yidish”-Seminar, “You Say Bulbe, I Say Kartofl: An
Excursion through Yiddish Dialects” led by Dr. Paul (Hershl) Glasser will
take place
on Sunday, May 5, 2019 9 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. At  Ansche Chesed, 251 W. 100th
St. in New York City. The all-Yiddish program will feature a short but
lovely concert with Cantor Reut Ben-Ze’ev singing Yiddish songs with
dialectal rhymes.The program is sponsored by the League for Yiddish.
Tuition: $70. Members of the League for Yiddish – $45. Students – $30.

Dr. Paul (Hershl) Glasser has a doctorate from Columbia University in
Yiddish Linguistics. He is a Yiddish linguist and translator, and
co-editor-in-chief of the Comprehensive English-Yiddish Dictionary. His
main interest is dialects, both among Jews and among others.
