Mendele Personal Notices and Announcements
Date: Dec. 7, 2020
To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests:
1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance.
2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding,or
attachments;and write MENDELE PERSONALS in the subject line.
3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has posted
the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames.

Dear Mendelyaner,
I am looking for autobiographies of people who went to Israel, not just as
tourists or world travelers but with the intention of settling; made
aliyah; lived in Israel, written in Yiddish, by either a man or woman.
I am also looking for autobiographies of women who went to Argentina and
became prostitutes. I would also not look askance at an autobiography
written by a pimp, if such exists. If you have any recommendations on
either topic , please let me know. Thanks. Sheva Zucker sczucker at aol.com

announcements of events, commercial publications, requests to which
responses should be sent exclusively to the request's author, etc.,
always in plain text (no HTML or the like).
