scholars for a 9-wk summer internship. Rising senior or a graduate 
within the last 12 months from an accredited US college or university 
with a bachelor's degree. Program seeks to increase the number of 
minority health policy professionals. Intern is placed in a 
congressional office and gets first-hand experience in public service 
and an opportunity to develop critical thinking and leadership skills. 
Benefits include: $2,000 stipend upon completion; allowance for 
incidentals (meals and transportation); transportation from Washington, 
DC; and lodging at Howard University. Total support approximately
