UMass Boston's Native American Student Society invites you to "A Day of Gathering,"
an Intertribal Social in Honor of Native American Heritage Month, on
Friday, November 16, from 11 am - 5 pm, in the Wheatley Building, 3rd Floor, Wits End Cafe.

Please join us for an abundance of food, music by the Red Horse Drum group,
and guest speakers, including Don Caplin (Mi'kmaq Elder), Anne Foxx (Mashpee Wampanoag),
Marge Bruchac (Abenaki), and Shanadeen Begay (Navajo).

In addition, during this event members of Native American/Indigenous student organizations
from Boston University, Boston College and Harvard University will be meeting with members
of UMass Boston's Native American Student Society to continue our ongoing efforts to build
Coalition of Indigenous Students of Boston. This is the first such effort to establish a
formal coalition of Native American/Indigenous students in Boston, whose goal will be to
ollaborate on creating and hosting programming and events that reflect issues important to
the Native American nations and communities of the Boston area and beyond.

This event is free and open to the public.

For further information please contact Amy Den Ouden,
