I will soon be announcing a search for the Peabody Essex Museum in
Salem, MA, for a Curator of American Art.  

 

I will be at the College Art Association Meeting in New York on February
9-11 and reachable on my cell phone at 603-553-8515.  I will welcome
nominations of and introductions to potential candidates.  

 

This position will require a strong track record in developing and
implementing innovative, effective exhibitions and publications and
attracting patronage; and, preferably, experience in a major art museum.
It will report to the Chief Curator Lynda Roscoe Hartigan.  The level,
title, and complete responsibilities of the position will be specified
soon.
