Conversations Between Communities: UMass Boston Archaeology for/with the Nipmuc and Eastern Pequot
Event Date: November 12, 2013 - 4 p.m.
Location: Joseph P. Healey Library, 5th Floor, Peace Abbey


Cedric Woods, director of the Institute for New England Native American Studies<http://www.umb.edu/inenas>, will moderate a discussion between Katherine Sebastian Dring, Valerie Gambrell, and Brenda Geer (Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation), Dr. Rae Gould and Cheryll Holley (Nipmuc Nation), and Professors Stephen Mrozowski and Stephen Silliman (UMass Boston Anthropology Department).

All November long, there will also be a photography and artifact exhibit in the Grossman Gallery, located on the fifth floor of the Joseph P. Healey Library.

Admission to both events is free. All are welcome to attend.
