Subject: Historian's Vacancy at the Department of Interior
Dear Dr. Christopher Clark,
My name is Al Salerno. I graduated from the University of Connecticut
Doctoral Program in 1993 with a degree in ethnic history. The late Bill
Hoglund was my advisor.
Currently, I am a historian with the Office of Federal Acknowledgment within
the Bureau of Indian Affairs. My office is advertising for a vacancy for a
historian, preferably with a Ph.D.
I thought you might be interested in letting some of your soon-to-be
graduates or recent graduates know about this opportunity.
The vacancy announcement can be found on usajobs.gov. The announcement
number is DB-14-PQ1095082 (DEU). It is for a historian, GS-13, with a
starting salary of $89,900.00.
Thank You.
Aldo E. Salerno, Ph.D.
Office of Federal Acknowledgment
