BULLETIN FROM THE SCIENCE MUSEUM OF MINNESOTA

Because of a move to a new $100 million, 370,000 sq. ft. new facility, the
Science Museum of Minnesota paleontology collections are currently
unavailable for study. It is estimated that by the end of this month, all
specimens will be in a packed, transition state. The more important type
specimens and the Cretaceous and Paleogene reptile collections should be
re-housed and organized by early Spring 2000. Any special requests should
be directed to myself, curator Bruce Erickson, or collections manager Lori
Benson (benson at smm.org). An announcement of general availability will be
made next year.
