[NHCOLL-L:380] Tissue databasing

Colleagues:

Has anyone had experience with databasing a frozen tissue collection for
genetic research?

We are currently considering ways to establish such a database that is
interactive and web-searchable, and would like to agree upon standard
fields shared widely by such collections in order to facilitate arrangements
that permit metasearching at least core fields in all such databases.

All recommendations and advice welcomed.
