[NHCOLL-L:260] prep. of bird skins

Has anyone used 3% hydrogen peroxide to clean/remove fat and connecting
tissue from bird skins prior to stuffing? We've tried it on two skins and
it seemed to do a good job. Does anyone have any thoughts on what this
might do to the skin short or long-term? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
