[NHCOLL-L:544] RE: Virus warning about e-mail to this group

When I first opened the original post I received no warnings. However,
opening my Outlook mailbox on a second PC today (after the virus warning
had been posted) I got a warning about the presence of an unruly
Active-X component and chose to disable it. This second PC has Internet
Explorer-type security zone settings in MS Outlook. Curiously, scanning
the e-mail mail boxes in our Exchange Server (with our new Network
Associates Groupwise AV software installed today) didn't pick it up even
though the software is certainly post kak worm. Searches of our network
and workstations for the kak.* files dropped by the worm revealed
nothing. Hmm ... so maybe we've got away with it. Time to review all our
security settings I think.
