H.J.,
I would NOT recommend laser-printed field sheets on Resistall paper.
Laser printing forms a letter of dry carbon particles on the surface
of the paper that makes it very susceptible to abrasion, as well as
removal by moisture.  Use an ink-jet printer instead.

Secondly, are you aware that Resistall paper is acidic?  It holds up
when immersed because it has a formaldehyde-based coating on it that
makes it resistant, but also acidic.  Are these field sheets intended
to be permanent documents?  If so, you should consider using a 100%
cotton acid-free stock, or if they need to be both permanent and
moisture-resistant (I know you ichthyologists never dry your hands!)
then you might consider a spun-bonded polyethylene paper substitute
that could go through an impact printer or an ink-jet printer, such
as Polypaper, Write-N-Rain, or Tyvek.

However, if your field sheets are not permanent documents, then
you might try the Resistall but with an ink-jet or impact printer.
