Hello List Members,

I was told perhaps this might be a good place to post
a request for educational specimens.

As Director of an environmental education center in
the Pocono Mountain area of Pennsylvania, I'm always
looking for and collecting things that can be used in
our wildlife education programs.

Our skull display/collection is used heavily, and has
expanded over the years to the point where finding
"new" specimens is increasing difficult (we've got all
the local genera and most species well represented).

So if anyone has skulls, bones or other interesting
specimens that have become useless to your
organization for whatever reason, please consider
donating such things for the sake of education. Our
center sees about 20,000 visitors each year, (mostly
students in grades K through 8) so any donations would
be put to very good use.

As I am not a subscriber to this list, I ask that you
please email me for our "wish list" if you think you
can help. We are interested mainly in mammals not
native to Pennsylvania, and non-passerines. We would
of course be willing to pay shipping.

Thank you all for your time.

Sue
