[NHCOLL-L:758] Moving double herbarium cases

In about one year, the University of Michigan Herbarium will be moving to
new quarters.  The new building will be about 7 miles away.

One question that has recently arisen is the feasibility of moving double
herbarium cases without removing their contents.  We have a number of them,
both on and off our compactor, that have to be moved.  Clearance problems
(door height, forcing one to tip the cases farther than we should) and
weight concerns suggest this may be a problem.

I am interested in hearing from anyone who has faced a similar situation
during renovations and/or moves and how they have dealt with it.
