[NHCOLL-L:1002] Herbarium moving

As many of you may know, the University of Michigan Herbarium is facing a
move to temporary quarters, now in February of 2002.

We are beginning to investigate the actual "who" is going to move the
collection.  I was asked today if there are any companies that actually
specialize in moving herbaria.  While my first answer was "I don't think
so", I thought I would query the community in case such a niche mover did
exist.

For those folks who have moved collections recently, have most of you dealt
with commercial contractors or "in-house" (ex. University moving personnel)
personnel? I would suspect the former.
