"THE FOSSIL TRADE: ETHICS VERSUS SCIENCE".
The Geological Curators' Group of the U.K. is holding a one-day conference on the rights and wrongs of the Fossil Trade, on Wednesday 23 May 2001 at the Manchester University Museum, Oxford Road, Manchester, United Kingdom. The title of the conference is, "THE COMMERCIAL TRADE: ETHICS VERSUS SCIENCE".
The provisional programme is attached below. I am looking for a speaker, preferably a research vertebrate palaeontologist, to give an "anti-trade" talk.
