[NHCOLL-L:1111] Arsenic MSDS sheets

Our security staff informed me this morning that last week the fire
department inspection queried us about a sign I put up where we stored
exhibit mounts not on display that warned workers of arsenic in some mounts.
The fire department wanted to see MSDS sheets on the arsenic -- something
which we did not currently have. Our security chief searched the internet
for msds on Arsenic -- and low and behold he found 8 different sheets. I
did a search and found over 380 different sheets -- one for each
manufacturer and type. My question (and our security officers) is which
sheet do we use? I have arsenic tests that I use, but they don't tell us
what form of arsenic -- and these are old mounts -- sometimes 100 to 150
years old, sometimes much more recent. I suspect that they used various
forms of arsenic -- are the MSDS sheets all that different? The fire
department needs to see our sheets -- but I don't know what to show them.
Any help?
