[NHCOLL-L:1058] shipping specimens to Venezuela

Dear colleagues -

I am looking into the possibility of shipping specimens to Venezuela 
for a temporary exhibit there. This shipment would include mounted 
turtles, shells, and skeletons. Does anyone have experience with such 
international shipments, such as permits, special packaging 
requirements, other legalities? Maybe special experience with 
Venezuela? Could I expect paperwork to take a long time?

Any information would be greatly appreciated, per list or off list.
