[NHCOLL-L:1285] Stablizing fossels...

I live on the Suwannee River in N.FLA..my son and I found in and as a thin layer of mostly crushed sand dollars and sea erchins.With a little very fine sand and clay. This is very crumbly,tho there are areas that are to hard to even chip lose.The section that we hahe has a few nice clear peices that are mostly in tact. Is there a resin or something I can soak or paint on them once I get them as clean as I can with out killing the good parts????
