Duties and Responsibilities: Reports to Curatorial Associate and Curator in
the Mammal Department. Performs Curatorial Duties at both the Museum of
Comparative Zoology (MCZ) and at the Concord Field Station (CFS); assists
with ongoing renovations and re-organization of the collection. Maintains
preparation lab, dermestid beetle colony, and Cetacean and Alcohol
Collection at the CFS.

Requirements: BS in Vertebrate Biology, Zoology, or Mammalogy preferred.
Experience with all aspects of curatorial work in a systematic collection,
as well as knowledge of issues and experience in handling, storage, and
preservation of collections; preparation of mammal study skins and
skeletons, and maintenance of beetle colony desired. 1-2 years related
experience, computer skills (Filemaker Pro, collection databases, Microsoft
Word); ability to learn and follow procedures for handling, storage, and
preservation of  specimens; strong written and verbal communication skills;
strong organizational skills, must be attentive and detail oriented; must
be able to lift 50lbs and have physical strength and stamina; ability to
work alone for extended periods with minimal supervision, as well as
ability to work as part of a team.
