Earlier this year the Tulane Museum of Natural History released
GEOLocate, an NSF funded tool for computer-aided georferencing of
natural history museum data. GEOLocate is free and supports a wide array
of features. Some of the features include: single record georeferencing,
multi record batch georeferencing, waterbody and bridge crossing
detection, assignment of a precision estimate letting users know which
records need the most review, polygonal error determination, visual
correction system and includes data for all 50 US states, Canada and
Mexico.

I invite you to visit http://www.museum.tulane.edu/geolocate to learn
more and sign up for a free copy.
