I have some restricted funds available to hire a Curatorial Intern/Asst. during 2003, for 10 wk (40 hr/wk), 20 wk (20 hr/wk), or 40 wk (10 hr/wk), with pay at $10/hr. The candidate must know how to prepare bird specimens, and preferably make live mounts as well. The job will be a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to, labeling shelves/cabinets, procuring and preparing specimens, accessioning specimens, and general collection management and administrative duties. Preference will be given to graduate students working on topics involving Neotropical, African, or Texas birds and/or mammals, reflecting collection emphasis. Please contact me directly at the info below, not via the list-serv.
Thanks,
Dan Brooks
