Dear Judy,

This summer I read the most marvellous popular science book: "In the Blink
of an Eye" by Andrew Parker, published by Simon & Schuster UK Ltd, ISBN
0-7432-3988 1 PB or HB 0-7432-1980-5.

The whole book is about light and invertebrate vision or light perception
and the evolution of the eye. This event is proposed to be the cause of the
Cambrian explosion of phyla. On page 197 scorpion light receptors are
described.

Regards Bente T. Loudon
