The American Museum of Natural History is seeking a Scientific Assistant in 
Ichthyology.

Responsibilities involve providing assistance with the curation of a large, 
worldwide collection of fishes, including preparation of research 
materials, specimen identification and processing, bibliographic and 
clerical work, data processing and analysis, and other duties as assigned. 
Must be willing/able to handle specimens and preservatives.

BA/BS in biological sciences; background in ichthyology or fisheries 
science and/or training in vertebrate zoology and basic computer skills 
desired. Full time, $27,433/year + excellent benefits. Please email, fax or
