[NHCOLL-L:2783] SPNHC newsletter - deadline for submissions extended

Hi all
 
The deadline for submissions for the September edition of the SPNHC newsletter has been extended to the 15th of August.  I would again encourage any interested parties with information to share, to submit materials for consideration before the deadline.

I am still particularly interested in anyone who would be willing to write a short piece on the SPNHC 2005 meeting in London or anyone who has short anecdotal information to share regarding the meeting - anything earth shattering that happened, any interesting developments, any funny stories - anything of that nature.  I would like to include a single page of quotes regarding the meeting as well as a longer piece outlining highlights of the meeting written by a single person.
 
The SPNHC Newsletter (ISSN 1071-2887) is published twice a year, March and September, by the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections. Articles dealing with subjects of interest to Natural History Collection Managers (maximum of 1000 words) are welcomed, as well as any news items, announcements or notes.  Due to limited available space we cannot guarantee that all submissions will be used in the next issue.
