[NHCOLL-L:2560] Looking for Dee Jay Nelson

Dear Colleagues,

We (Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History and the Cornell 
Laboratory of Ornithology) are trying to locate a naturalist by the 
name of Dee Jay Nelson, and/or any materials that he may have produced. 
  Old address labels that we have for him place him in Billings, Montana 
at one point, and he was self-described as an "explorer and 
naturalist."  Our current information, and the reason we are looking 
for him, has to do with a short film that he shot of the extinct 
Carolina Parakeet.  Any help or information regarding Mr. Nelson or his 
works would be greatly appreciated.
