[NHCOLL-L:2714] degreasing agent for flies

howdy  sorry for the cross posting.

just hatched  three beautiful  bot flies.  wonderful colors and 
markings.   the previous one turned dark black after mounting do to 
exuding body grease.  i need to kill and soak these critters in 
something to degrease to stop the discoloration. (would be nice to soak 
the other specimen in something to remove the grease also)

does anyone have any suggestions.  you can answer me direct and cut down 
on traffic, if you will.
