[NHCOLL-L:2855] tinted (unbleached) Forbon vulcanized fiber tags

As you may have heard, the Allen Bailey Tag and Label Co. sold their tag
printing presses to: 

 

TLS (Tag & Label Specialty) (508) 234 6630.

 

The owners of the company, Jim Russell and Rick Bloniasz printed some
samples on the tinted (unbleached) Forbon vulcanized fiber which is now
being supplied by NVF.  (National Vulcanized Fiber no longer bleaches
their paper product and therefore, the old "Forbon White Tag" has been
discontinued.)

 

I have attached some images of the new tinted product.  I have also
tested it by leaving it submerged over the weekend in 75% ethanol, 10%
formalin, glycerin, and Clorox bleach.  The printing remains dark and
crisp (no fading or bleeding) in all of these solutions.  The paper
product is not affected (except that the orange paper bleached white in
Clorox).  

 

I think these will be the same quality tags we used to get from Allen
Bailey, with the exception of the tinting.  I would be anxious to hear
back from someone who orders from them.
