Manager of Outreach Education – The Brucemobile
Bruce Museum of Arts and Science
Greenwich, Connecticut

The Bruce Museum promotes the appreciation and understanding of arts and
sciences to enrich the lives of all people.  An art and science museum
located in downtown Greenwich, CT, 40 miles east of New York just off I-95
and steps away from the Metro-North’s Greenwich train station.

The Bruce Museum seeks an energetic museum educator to direct the museum’s
outreach program. The Manager of Outreach Education is responsible for the
implementation and supervision of all outreach programs for schools, senior
centers and off-site groups, i.e. libraries and social service
organizations.  This encompasses the development of programs primarily in
natural sciences, and the hiring, training, scheduling and evaluation of
paid Brucemobile Instructors.

Graduate degree or Bachelor’s degree in science, natural history, education
or museum studies with 2-3 years of demonstrated teaching experience,
preferably in the museum field. Valid driver’s license, unattended mobility
in object handling, and the ability to drive the museum vehicles and visit
facilities unequipped to accommodate the physically challenged are
necessary.

Salary range low – mid 40Ks with benefits. Anticipated start date as soon as
possible.
