In response the the coleopterist request, I thought I should mention that Herpetological Conservation and Biology has been launched and is primarily an online journal.  It is open access without page charges or download fees.  The first issue was released about 3 months ago and the next issue is to be released in about 3 weeks.  
 
I don't think I ever sent an alert to the museum list.
