Under the direction of George Sparks, President and CEO, the Denver
Museum of Nature & Science has renewed its mission, vision and values:
Mission
The Denver Museum of Nature & Science inspires curiosity and excites
minds of all ages through scientific discovery and the presentation and
preservation of the world's unique treasures.
Vision
We aspire to create a community of critical thinkers who understand the
lessons of the past and act as responsible stewards of the future.
Core Values
We demonstrate Integrity. We align our actions with our words and
encourage open debate.
We strive for Excellence in all we do. We have the courage to challenge
conventional practices and seek continuous improvement. We promote
constructive dialog among ourselves and with visitors. 
We inspire a love of Learning. We create an integrated environment where
all people can explore, experiment and share what is learned. We honor
diverse learning styles.
We promote Respect for our environment and community. We provide a safe
place where we can cultivate an appreciation and understanding of the
natural world and its diverse inhabitants.
