Dear Collections Folks,
We are rapidly approaching the end of our paper catalog and so I now
seek advice on finding the next volume. For various reasons we are not
ready to give up on the "book" version of a catalog and go only with the
electronic catalog (database). The last volume is about 2.5" thick with
space for ~10,000 specimen entries, constructed of good quality binding
and rag paper with the heading for each field printed at the tops of
each page.
A local book binding company is asking ~$1,100 for a similar volume.
This seems pretty steep to me. If anyone could recommend a source for
such a book we would be greatly appreciative. Or if this really is what
we should expect to pay, then it would be good to know that as well.
Thanks,
Lisa
