Thought this report might be of interest - the report has some information 
on visits to science museums (natural history, science / technology, 
planetarium) and suggests that science sites and science museum sites 
should be natural portals to each other.


The national (U.S.) survey conducted by the Pew Internet & American Life 
Project (www.pewinternet.org) in collaboration with the Exploratorium 
(www. exploratorium.edu) looks at how the internet fits into people's 
habits for gathering news and information about science
