EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Delaware Museum of Natural History
Wilmington, Delaware
The Delaware Museum of Natural History ("DMNH"), the only natural
history museum in Delaware, with world-renowned collections in both
mollusks and birds, serving both the educational and scientific
communities, seeks a creative and enthusiastic Executive Director to
lead the institution. The Executive Director shall be prepared to build
upon DMNH's foundation of collections, programs, and community services.
Candidates should possess a Master's degree or higher in a field related
to the DMNH mission, and a working knowledge of educational, scientific,
management, and museum practices. A minimum of three (3) years of
leadership and/or management experience is required. The successful
candidate shall have the ability to motivate staff and promote
creativity. Demonstrated financial management and fundraising skills
are a requirement. The position offers a competitive salary and
benefits package commensurate with experience and expertise.
