We have Oddy tested and used gasketing products from the following manufacturers/distributors with good results.
Clean Seal Inc.
South Bend, Indiana
(800)366-3682
http://www.cleanseal.com/
I have Oddy tested the following Clean Seal gasketing materials several times and found them suitable for permanent use although I'm unsure whether they have the exact size you are looking for:
* # 8489 Black closed cell silicone sponge gasket (rectangular profile with ribbed top) with acrylic adhesive (comes in different sizes, the one tested was approximately (10 mm wide x 4 mm high/thick)
* # 8325 Teardrop profile silicone gasket with acrylic adhesive backing.
* # 8556 Rectangular profile closed cell silicone sponge, black adhesive backed gasket with acrylic adhesive). Tape tested approximately (14 mm wide x 8 mm thick) - it come in 1/8, ¼, 3/8" thick x ½" wide.
I also tested and approved for use a rectangular profile silicone foam rubber gasketing material with acrylic adhesive backing available from McMaster Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com/), Cat. No. 8645k36. The gasketing that I tested was approximately 3/8" wide x 1/8" thick (10mm x 3mm), however, according to the McMaster Carr website, it looks like you can order the same product in ¾", 1" and 2" widths (`18mm, 25mm and 50mm respectively).

Does anyone know of an off-the-shelf source for cellular silicone sponge gasket tape? Or a reliable and reasonably priced custom manufacturer for this material?
I am retrofitting herbarium cases with new gaskets following the directions found in 'Storage of Natural History Collections: Ideas and Practical Solutions' by Carolyn L. Rose, Amparo R. de Torres, editors. I need gasket tape that is ca. 3 mm thick and 20 mm wide. However, I have only been able to find custom manufacturers for this material and would like to investigate less costly sources if possible.
Many thanks for any information,
Andrea Weeks
