Hi All,
The message below was sent to me directly through the SPNHC website but
I believe was meant for the list.
Best, James
To whom it may concern I am Samuel Lopez, a mexican ornithologist and
biologist. I'm in charge of the Scientific Area of the Museo de las Aves
de Mexico (in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico), a non-govermental institution
dedicated to conservation and study of Mexican birds. As part of our
main activities we have a section of our museum destinated to be a
itinerant gallery, so people who can´t visit us can see the birds and
know more about them. We transport these birds in special glass cabins
in a truck and we could like to know if it is necessary to have air
conditioner in the truck to keep a constant temperature inside that
mantain the best conditions for our specimens. These collection is
planned to visit places where there are important changes in temperature
so that is why we want to know how can we assure that our specimens
maintained in the best conditions. We would apreciate any information
you can provide to us. Please feel free to contact us and visit our
