Hi Alan,

At the National Museum of Natural History, we have been testing an alcohol/solvent recycler in order to determine its effectiveness and feasibility for general museum use. The CBG Biotech FormaSolve Recycler can process up to 5 gallons of used alcohol, formalin, alcohol/formalin mix, or xylene. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

best regards,
Bill

Alan,
I believe that the fish collection at Tulane uses a still to recycle their alcohol (or at least they did pre-Katrina). You might want to contact Nelson Rios, nelson at museum.tulane.edu

	Hi:

Does anyone have any experience using a commercial solvent recycling still for ethanol? It seems like a good way to reduce the cost of disposing of used ethanol and buying clean ethanol. Here is a link to an older profile on the use of a still:

Any comments on stills will be greatly appreciated.

	Thanks.
