Dear Colleagues;

The multi-association Task Force on College and University Collections has posted a petition for your consideration and signature. Please take one minute to visit http://www.acumg.org/index.html and SIGN ON to our proposition that GREAT UNIVERSITIES HAVE GREAT MUSEUMS. Consider sharing it with your college and university presidents, provosts, deans and faculty and solicit their support. Pass the link on to all colleagues you know who care about academic museums and wish to support them during these challenging times. This document, with selected signatures, will also appear this fall as a full-page ad in The Chronicle of Higher Education.

Thanks,

David Robertson, President ACUMG in collaboration with

Ford Bell(AAM),

Michael Conforti (AAMD),

Linda Downs (CAA),

Max Marmor (Kress Foundation) and our other dedicated Task Force members.
