We do not have the staff to support evening or weekend visits by people.
However, we will allow some to stay after closing hours if they are well
known to our staff as being responsible and have been working here for
some time.
Also we have a grandfather clause for a couple of the state department
of natural resource people to be given special status and keys for
weekend access on their own as long as they continue to assist in
helping with identification of difficult taxa.
Our museum's collections are in other university buildings than the
public exhibits so access is controlled only on our floor.
