Software Developer - Tulane University Museum of Natural History

 

The Tulane University Museum of History (TUMNH) invites applications for a
software developer primarily focused on integrating geospatial analysis into
an existing natural history collection database network architecture
(Fishnet2, http://www.fishnet2.net).   Minimum required qualifications
include B.S. or M.S. in computer science, geographic information systems
and/or biology.  The successful candidate should have working knowledge of
all of these disciplines. Experience within the field of biodiversity
informatics preferred.  Desired software experience includes C#, ASP.net,
Javascript, MS SQL Server, Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Query and
Analysis, GeoServer, OpenLayers.   The position is located at TUMNH in Belle
Chasse, LA (http://www.museum.tulane.edu). Salary $50,000-$60,000 (depending
on experience) plus excellent benefits.  Send resume/professional vitae
