[NHCOLL-L:5151] Dissolving eggshell protein

Hello,
I¹m trying to show eggshell porosity by backlighting shells and viewing
through a magnifying glass. I¹ve heard that dissolving the protein in the
pores might help more light come through, and that an enzymatic liquid could
be used. Any idea what this liquid is, and where I can get some? Thanks,
