[NHCOLL-L:4836] Spurr resin embedded specimens

Does anyone have any guidelines or caveats about storage of specimens embedded for electron microscopy in Spurr (or Spurr's) resin? Apparently it's an epoxide resin, and the sections are mounted on pieces of copper grid. The samples I just received are in styrene snap-closure boxes with internal slots holding the little grid pieces. I just wonder if I need to store these more carefully than just bunging them in the same type cabinet as my fluid collections.

Thanks

Judith
