Emma

Diane Bray at Museum Victoria forwarded the following information to me some time ago about the process required to get specimens in to Australia (see attached and website below).

http://www.aqis.gov.au/icon32/asp/ex_casecontent.asp?intNodeId=8789393&intCommodityId=26943&Types=none&WhichQuery=Go+to+full+text&intSearch=1&LogSessionID=0 <http://www.aqis.gov.au/icon32/asp/ex_casecontent.asp?intNodeId=8789393&intCommodityId=26943&Types=none&WhichQuery=Go+to+full+text&intSearch=1&LogSessionID=0>

We (SPNHC) are hoping to have this and lots more country specific information available on our website sometime soon (if I can ever find the time!!)

Hope this helps

Andy

Subject: [NHCOLL-L:4749] wet-preserved loan to Australia

Hi All,

Has anyone sent any wet-preserved loans in accepted quantities to Australia recently? Are there any customs forms that would expedite this process, or any particular problems or issues we should take care to avoid?

Thanks!
