[NHCOLL-L:5685] a fog of spray paint

Contractors working in a building decided to spray paint walls in a new space with latex primer. Instead of the air exhausting to the outside, air moves into the rest of the building interior. A fine fog of particles is visible against light beams in exhibit spaces; some visitors are coughing a bit. So far, a very light film of particles is visible on top of some plexi exhibit cases (the claim at this point is that the paint particles dried to dust). Some objects (including taxidermy mounts) are about 30 feet from the source. Any thoughts on the tests or clean up tasks that should be involved?
