We also use pH-neutral water-based white glue.  I have found it  
helpful to reattach small, loose feathers by dipping the shaft into a  
drop of glue and put it back into position by holding the adjacent  
feathers aside with a probe.  When I need glue in an inaccessible  
area, I fill an unused syringe and cannula, which allows me a great  
deal of control.
