The position paper set out a shared vision of a new approach to audience engagement with collections, and it has attracted comment and generated considerable discussion and debate. Vacancy: Partnerships Manager, Collections Trust
We are recruiting a Partnerships Manager for a maternity cover contract of 9 months (with possible extension). The Partnerships Manager will provide an effective business development resource to maximise revenue from Collections Trust’s existing partnership arrangements. The post is responsible for managing relationships between the Collections Trust and its corporate partners. The closing date for applications is midday on Tuesday September 4th with interviews likely to be held on September 13th, 2012.

Paralympics Legacy for Museums?

OpenCulture 2012 an Outstanding Success
With a substantial number of returned questionnaires, the Collections Trust are delighted to be able to share these positive statistics about its flagship OpenCulture 2012 event with you:

• 98% of respondents rated the conference sessions, their content, and the location Good to Excellent
• 98% of respondents would recommend the event to a colleague
• 96% of respondents rated their overall experience of the conference Good to Excellent
• 91% of respondents rated the trade fair Good to Excellent

One lucky winner has been notified of their success in the questionnaire competition to win tickets to OpenCulture 2013. If you haven’t heard, don’t worry, there will be opportunities to buy tickets at a competitive Early Bird rate. The team are currently in the process of confirming dates and a venue for 2013. Great New Collections Link Resources from Networks
Many thanks to all who have submitted new resources to Collections Link after our call for resources in the last e-newsletter. Particular thanks to SHARE Museums East for their video contributions and ‘How To’ Guides! We are also working with the Money and Medals Subject Specialist Network to update resources available on Collections Link for coins and medals subject expertise. The Money and Medals SSN have a very useful website<http://cts.vresp.com/c/?CollectionsTrust/c75f374fc7/f95f1ebfd3/380c11eddf> with lots of handy information. We shall be continuing to work with them to add more useful resources over the coming months so keep an eye on the Coins and Medals subject page on Collections Link for the latest news!

We are looking for more subject resources to be uploaded to Collections Link and so any useful resources such as reports, guides or current case studies would be very much appreciated. These resources can be uploaded in any format and we can help to share your expertise with the rest of the community.
