Curator of Paleontology

The University of Alabama Museums seeks a Vertebrate Paleontologist to manage paleontology collections, upgrade collections and databases, lead public programs, and teach one undergraduate course per year in the Honors College.

Required: Ph.D. in geology or related discipline; educational background and research experience in vertebrate paleontology and relevant southeastern geology; prior experience in museum or university; collections management experience; a record of scientific achievement. Preferred: experience with public learning programs, geoscience outreach, and fossil preparation.
