at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, used MayDay as an
opportunity to have fun together in addition to reviewing their disaster plan.
Staff worked in teams to complete a scavenger hunt. Teams were given clues
that lead them to multiple simulated disasters. Each clue also gave
information on the emergency procedure needed to resolve the crisis. Staff responded
to leaks in the ceiling, fires, and vandals to complete the challenge.

inventory project. Using a list of emergency supplies and equipment compiled
from various sources, all state historic site managers will begin inventorying
their own emergency supplies and equipment. All completed inventories will
be returned by May 31 and then compiled into a master list by site and
region. The master list will be distributed among site managers, regional
managers, and administration. The inventory will allow staff to quickly locate
and gather supplies and equipment in the event of a disaster.
